Woodinville, Washington is a small city in the Sammamish River Valley, about 30 minutes northeast of Seattle, WA. One of Washington's premier wine destinations, Woodinville, has more than 130 wineries and tasting rooms. Woodinville is known for a strong sense of community, concerts at Chateau Ste Michele, beautiful scenery, and a peaceful setting that's well connected to the more urban environments and workplaces of Seattle, Bellevue and Redmond. Outdoor recreation opportunities include many small parks, and the Sammamish River Trail. A 10-mile section runs through Woodinville, connecting bicyclists, walkers and runners to all points around Lake Washington including the Burke-Gilman Trail. The area is also known for horseback riding, with many horse properties still in operation in the hills of Woodinville.
